Overclocking your
card
We suggesting using a software
Rivatuner.
It is a great overclocking software for both ATi and nVidia.
With 1.25v, 8800GT should not have
any problem to run 775Mhz.
Also, because the memory that 8800GT used is rated 1ns,
overclock to 1000MHz is good too.
When 1st time turn on Rivatuner,
please go to power user
under RivaTuner/system, put down value 1 for those
two name.
Also, change value of
RivaTuner/Overclocking/Global
Then, go back to main and click
custom, and select system setting
Next, select overclocking
and click Enable driver-level...., Then press
Detect now
Ok we are almost done. 1st unclick
the link clocks, It will spread the GPU clock and
shader clock.
We don't want it linked.
Now you just need to overclock your GPU, Shader, and memory
clock to proper speed.
DO NOT DO CRAZY STUFF.
Now, just click Apply
overclocking at..... So every time you reboot your
windows, you don't need to set this again.
after that, press Apply.
OK. You have a 8800GT that perform
like a ULTRA. Enjoy
