New 55nm From ATi. HD3870 Quick Review
3DMark06 and DX10 Crysis

We have been waiting it for long time. The TRUE new mid range video card from ATi. It that possible RV670 can counter attack nVidia 8800GT.....

3DMark06 Result

There is single and crossfire result under 3Dmark06. We also add the nVidia 8800GT score as comparison.
SM3.0 is more important than SM2.0 in our point of view since it is more depends on video card than CPU.

Also, we are very surprise to see that as AA increase to 8X, the HD3870 beats 8800GT on SM3.0
On HD2900XT, AA was its weakest point and make people hesitate to buy it. Good job on ATi
